A physician and an organic grower together created this resource book about health and local food!
In addition to 150 simple, delicious recipes and serving suggestions provided by local growers, this book includes tips for good health and a guide to the farms and farmers' markets in the North Okanagan /Shuswap region of British Columbia.
Principal photographer was Kathryn Zietsma, who worked several years at Pilgrims' Produce and is now back on the farm.
Excellent research and technical assistance was given by Joan Burton, Kathryn Hettler's sister, who worked tirelessly to ensure we have a quality product from the title page to the Index.
The entire book is now available free online right here! It's a great reference for all foods grown or raised in the North Okanagan Valley of BC.
