Pilgrims' Produce is a 14 acre farm in front of Eagle Rock, Spallumcheen, near Vernon in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. Robert and Kathryn Hettler and family began the farm in 1991, desiring to grow certified organic fruits and vegetables by sustainable methods in order to steward this bit of God's land for future generations. For 2017, Dan and Kat Saxton are managing more of our operation along with strong collaboration from Tessa Wetherill and Joel Hayhoe.
We sell directly to individuals at farmers' markets in Vernon and Armstrong and through our Community Shared Agriculture box program. We offer u-pick strawberries, raspberries and saskatoons and blackcurrants in season. We have begun a modest food forest that includes fruit trees (plums, cherries, pears), nut trees (hazelnuts, walnuts), and berry crops (including black currants).
In 2010 Kathryn teamed up with a medical doctor, Maureen Clement, to write Real FOOD Real HEALTH, a resource to help you find, prepare and enjoy all the wonderful foods grown or raised in the North Okanagan/Shuswap region. Click on BOOK for details or download it for free via the link below.
